I have been playing drums and percussion for over 50 years and look very young despite my musical experience. I started private lessons at the age of 5 with Master percussionists Mel Brown and Don Worth Sr. from Portland Oregon. At the age of 6, I participated in a national youth percussion ensemble and toured the United States and parts of Canada and was later accepted into the Portland Youth Philharmonic Symphony at the age of 12 playing there for three seasons. I spent another 4 years with the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps and after graduating high school I spent two summers at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood California while attending the University of Oregon on a music scholarship in their music program. I later joined the US Navy Band and also attended Naval Power Engineering School. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Technology) from Regents University of New York.
